Salman Agah without a cast!

Here is a REAL Salman Agah ad from 1990 about a year before he broke his arm and was wearing the infamous cast that smelled like shit! You can see the cast on his arm in the second REAL ad from a 1991 issue of SLAP.

A day to remember.

On this day back in 1993 a van turned up with Mike Carroll, Eric Koston, Rick Howard, Danny Way, Pat Duffy, Sean Sheffey and Colin McKay. The skaters at the Dead End gathering at the Brooklyn Banks were in a state of shock! My friend Sam and I quickly approached Rick Howard and told him about the marble dreamland called Battery Park Waterfront. Rick wanted to go but had no razor to grip his board, luck had it that I had a knife in my bag! He called over Pat and Colin, we told them about the spot and they were all down to go. We snuck away from the banks and took Rick, Pat & Colin on a mini tour of downtown NYC That ended with their jaws dropping when they witnessed Battery Park Waterfront for the first time! R.I.P Harold Hunter, that trick over the wall is still amazing to this day!

Remember When?

Remember when we wore size 40 jeans with the legs cut down? Foundation took advantage of this trend and made a clothing company called Poot in 1993. Five more years and kids will be throwing away their tights and wearing these again ;)

Choice Cuts.

If you have not carved on a Dogtown Skateboard get some meat, a cleaver and one of these boards from 1978 and give it a shot.

720

A classic game by Atari in 1987, 720 was one of the only skate games to appear in the arcade at that time. if you have not already guessed, thats Cab chilling by the video game.

Blind ripped it from Burger King.....

And Blockhead ripped it from Blind in this 1993 Laban Pheidias ad , but they added a bit of a vegan touch to it. From what I can remember Laban was not into juicy pieces of bloody steak fried in a hot pan.

Some pages from the 1991 World Industries catalog

Skully came out of a hole in the screen.....

The Shorty's baby came out of a..... well, look at this rip off Powell Shorty's ad from 1993 very closely and you decide.

101 Falling Down video 1993

D - FENSE

Ad for the 1993 video Falling Down by 101. Koston's part in this is the shit, so I will post it next for your viewing pleasure.

The 1998 Axion Line.

Would you rock a pair now? I thought not but they were the shit back then and I loved em.

The Napping Negro

This World Industries Jovantae Turner board c. 1993 has a very daring graphic. I wanted this when it came out but it was not a choice graphic to have on a board when you are a little cracker skater in NYC.

Ribbed for her pleasure!

Here is a set of Underworld Element Harold Hunter ( R.I.P ) Lifestyles wheels and ad from around 1992. Classic idea to put them in a condom box.

The Sean Sheffey Troll.

One of Plan B's first boards that came out in 1991.

Two things that go great together...

Mike Carroll and the EMB! He ripped that place apart for years as you can see in these Venture ad's from 92 & 94. It amazes me that they rode around on that earthquake damaged surface on 39mm wheels and still pulled some amazing shit :)
